|I love to have a Cuban cigar every once and a while. Typically I like a mild smoke on a regular basis and a robust one every once and a while. This Trinidad was definitely the later. The wrapper had some imperfections but it didn't affect the experience one bit. I reached forward with both hands, lit the stick and rich blue puffs of smoke suddenly streamed out like a genie out of a lamp. I then got a sharp burst of coffee, black pepper and a number of other flavors which I can't put into words. The Cuban genie that came out of the cigar said to me where have you been?|
Although it was a short smoke it reminded me of a magic carpet ride, many complex flavors and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sitting back puffing away on this gem the bands were loose between my fingers and slipped off nicely once I was far enough through it. The flavors were consistent right through with not too many transitions which was just fine with this smoke.
The ash was a nice grey color which held out pretty well. The only bad thing I can say about this smoke is that it was too short. I'm going to give this one a 9 and put it on my list to try again in the future.
